Like I have stated in my Alternative ways to cope with anxiety,  Keeping yourself busy doing arts and crafts is a great way for someone to get their mind off all of your troubles.

This advice is even advised by therapist, they call it self medicating because it keeps you calm keeps you busy to where you will be focusing on the arts and crafts you are doing and off of everything that you might be worrying and panicking about/

Now I myself have done tons of arts and crafts to keep myself busy, I have crocheted and colored with adult coloring books. there is a great store called Michaels that has everything you may need for your arts and crafts projects.
