So I have been hearing and seeing that the rates of looking up suicide has went up since the movie “13 Reasons why” came out on netflix. I have also heard that the movie has also glorified suicide. I have seen the movie and it does not glorify suicide at all. There is just one seen in that movie that depicts suicide. I am not writing this post as a movie review. I am actually appalled that people are blaming this movie are saying that it glorifies suicide. There has been plenty of movies before this one that shows people committing suicide. For example, Girl Interrupted, when that movie came out nobody was blaming that movie that it glorifies suicide. I am so disgusted that someone would blame movies for influencing people to do something. You know that the movies or games that you see or play aren’t real.
