Deep Breathing techniques
1. breathe deep in through your nose slowly with your diaphragm (4 to 5 counts)
2.breathe out through your mouth slowly (4 to 5 counts)
do this no more than twice a day
When you are feeling anxious think and visualize yourself in a place where you feel calm and relaxed and do this for at least 5-10 seconds.
You can also start writing in a journal. It is cathartic to write down your feelings and have them out of your head and onto a piece of paper.
